It sounds good, I keep meaning to check it out.

A few really rubbish days but today has been better. Husband has insisted I make a GP appointment because he thinks I've lost too much weight (I haven't) but I'm not looking forward to it.

Hi Sioux, yes you can get a free trial.

Look on the website, you can sign up free for the 10 minutes a day package. You get 10 guided meditations, and then its up to you if you want to pay.

Have had so many good days in a row that I was beginning to feel guilty about being off work.

Having a bad day today, probably due to the fact that I went to my work place yesterday and saw lots of my old customers all asking me when I'm going back. Telling so many people that I wasn't coming back and was being made redundant was quite upsetting :-(

The problem I have now is that my sick note runs out on Monday, and I was hoping to do a phased return back into work as I've been feeling better.

Well, you can imagine how much enthusiasm I have for doing a phased return back into a job that I'm being made redundant from, in a different kitchen, with people I don't really know, with an extra 40 miles added on to my journey.

Hi folks ((()))) to all.

Can I get some advice? I've been on 20 mg of citalapram for 6weeks and got increased to 30mg a week and a half ago. Still I see no improvement and if anything I feel in getting worse. The doctor said it will take time , but how much time ? Surely nearly 8 weeks on I should see some good change? I had a counselling session yesterday and the lady said I should go back to docs but I'm also conscious about him saying it takes time so I'm kind of torn and don't want to waste his time , on the flip side though I'm feeling so badly ats another 2.5 weeks till my next appointment seems so far away.

Any experiences of how long citalapram took to work for you guys?
Thanks

I would say that in 8 weeks you should have seen some improvements. I'm lead to believe that it should take 2-4 weeks to notice a change (but I'm no doc!)

Go back to your doctor. You are not wasting his time, you are trying to get better.

Thanks Liliaicha, really appreciate it. It's hard to know what to do and what not to do. I'll maybe give him a call tomorrow.

Hi Flopsie, it depends why your on citalopram.

I started taking it, to help me move on from a relationship I was in, I started to feel better after a couple of months. Though that may have been my own mind healing itself.

I found that the meds seemed to level me out.

Yes, get in contact with your GP if there not doing what you think they should.

I've started going to a yoga class, so hoping that will be of some benefit to me. First one was fine :)

Hi Pete , I'm on it for depression but it's non reactive depression so no cause that I can recover from , I think this causes me more worry as I can't fix myself. I'll give it a few more days then call him I think.

Thanks
