Keep going PGI, hope you make the Parkrun, I haven't been for a while either. Lilaicha, why not suggest something else you can do with your sis, a meal out or whatever. So you can let her down if the pub doesn't suite you, but you can still celebrate her birthday. It was my birthday on Saturday, spent a good day at football with friends and had quite a larf really |

That's good SCP Lili, I like SCP's ideas. Crowded parties are not my thing and would never be offended if anyone felt they couldn't enjoy something like that - sounds like your sister will understand and be fine. Try not to feel bad about it xxx PGI, keep on keeping on. Hope you enjoy parkrun when you go. |

Well - I think it's fair to say it has all kicked off here over the past week. Having thought things were bad before now seems very naive when I had no idea how much worse they could get However, with a good bit of outside help, hopefully the worst is over, although things are still very up and down. Luckily I have been able to take time off work, otherwise I don't know what we would have done as he can't really be left. Depression/OCD/anxiety are horrible, vicious, frightening things to be cursed with. I don't want to say too much on a public forum. But it has been an incredibly distressing time. Love to all xx |

Thanks all. I did contact my sister, but only by text, and she was fine about it. We are going to do something together another time. (((Sheri))) |

Lili - give me a call when you have a moment or two. I have the week off work so I'd be happy to come and visit for a chat or run or whatever. I have a couple of things to do around the flat but otherwise I'm pretty much on own all the time too. |

There are several people that I know that have started turning up at the Parkrun recently as well as all the regulars that I know already. In one way that makes me want to turn up and join in more - but in another makes me more nervous of turning up again. This week was always going to be difficult so I might have to put it off another week - but would me nice if I could do it this weekend.

(((PGI))) - agreed, would be good to go to PR, hope you do. (((Sheri))) - sounds awful, hope things continue to improve, albeit slowly (((Lil))) - glad you've found a way to see your sister, hoping things have picked up a little bit for (((Carp))) - so, did the PR / 10m lift you? Hope so! (((UD))) - agree with Carp, not acceptable nowadays, but sadly all to common - the attitude that says 'just pull yourself together' I mean And ((())) for anyone else who needs them. I'm ok currently I think. Usual ups and downs. Moving house so my focus seems to be largely on trying not to kill the various solicitors / estate agents / IFA who are involved. (For the avoidance of doubt, not serious thoughts of that - just 'WTF do these cretins, muppets, excuses for human beings actually get paid for' |
