No meltdowns, or crying for nearly 2 days :-)

A little stressed about TR24 at the weekend as I'll be solo and will have a lot of time to think, in the grand scheme of things I think it's better than a DNS.

Still no phone call from management. Have been off for 10 days, have left 3 messages and have posted my sick notes in.

Bad nights sleep and tears this morning. Not good :(

Got a long drive to TR24, and really don't feel like it, but if I don't go then if I start to feel better I will be cross with myself. Hope this cloud lifts.

Can medication affect your judgement?

I am feeling a little better after upping my medication and I feel as though I am getting to a point where I want to make some life-changing decisions, which might help with what I think is the underlying cause of my depression, but it is an enormous step and will affect people I care about as well as myself.

But I just don't know what to do and I don't want to make a mistake because if I do this there will be no going back.

What if I am wrong and it makes no difference?

I thinkif the medication is doing its job, you should feel more able to make those kind of decisions. I think you'd feel the same way about life-changing decisions in any case.
If it makes no difference will you have lost anything?
Hugs, that sounds so, so difficult (((Atalanta)))

Yes, I will have lost a lot. I hope it will make me much happier, but if it doesn't I will have made other people unhappy for no reason.

When I write it like that, I feel selfish for even thinking about changing things.

I'm with Carp Atalanta - I think it's a good sign that you feel ready or close to ready to make those sort of decisions.
I've done something similar recently - was working up to it for a long time, in the end I'm sure I've made the right decision and I feel better for having made it. That's not to say I'm dancing around the street, but I just feel happier in myself that the decision is made and I can move on. I do get the selfish thing, but that doesn't make it the wrong thing to do, far from it.
Hope you get some clarity of thought about it all. ((()))

Atalanta, it sounds like you're in an unhappy situation that needs *something* to change and you're there because you believe others are made happy by the situation.

If you decide to change it, others will have to adapt to that change but it won't necessarily be a bad thing for them either.
More hugs (((Atalanta)))
