Good to see you too EJ :)

Carp, been early days with the sertraline, so can't really say.

Have been stuggling this week though. Not sure if its post holiday blues from last week, a hiccup in the new relationship, or feelings be dragged up about the ex, or a mixture of both. Plus add to that work is busy and I now have a longish drive on the M25 to get to work.

Just been struggling to get out of bed, so no running , which brings me down too.

Finally went to the docs and got my medication changed from Citralopram to Fluoxetine. Spent most of the session in tears due the stress of work and have been signed off for a week.

Feels weird. I feel like I'm being ridiculous. It's only a job. How the hell will I cope when something really bad happens to me?

I don't want to go to my new placement, the journey there is horrible and I miss my assistant terribly. The girls who work there are lovely, but they don't understand why I'm in tears every time I talk to a manager and I don't want to tell them. I just want things to go back to how they were. I don't like the equilibrium being upset. Feel like I'm behaving like a spoilt child.

Hope the meds make a difference Lil, although I guess it make take some time. Recognise your description of how you're finding life at the moment, wish I or anyone had an easy solution for you. ((()))

Lili, 'only a job' is where you spend a huge amount of your life. You're not being a spoilt child at all. (((Lili)))

Echo what Carp said.

Such a massive change in your work is bound to have had a significant impact - especially as you work in such a high pressure environment (I think)

Try not to beat yourself down about how you feel. I think if that sort of thing had happened to me I'd be in bits - I flip out if someone as much as leaves a pen on my desk in the morning...

I've had a change of work place too Lili, and it does take getting used to. I feel that its quite unsettling, despite me thinking that the change will do me good.

I had been at the previous office for getting on 8 year, had got to know loads of people and I had just a 10 minute drive into work. Walking only took and hour.

Now I'm driving nearly 90 miles a day to work, different place, different people. Same job, but now I have a different boss too.

Everythings changed!
