Staff obligations to the IPU

Members of staff working within the Group are reminded that the Information Protection Unit (IPU) is working under a direct remit from the [boss man].

Consequently, any reasonable instruction or request made by the IPU must be responded to quickly (within any timescales requested), and accurately.

If there are valid reasons why such instructions or requests cannot be complied with, then these must be communicated immediately to the IPU requestor, so that any associated risk may be properly understood and managed.

Failure to comply with this requirement will be viewed as a potentially serious risk in itself, and will be escalated to me and treated accordingly.

If you’re at the #MYLOCATION office today you will notice the new printers arriving on site!

So what’s new?

• Proximity sensors that detect you approaching & automatically start up ready for you to use – rather than you waiting for it to wake up!

• Less waste as you'll only be able to remove a toner cartridge when it's empty. To find out how to change the toner cartridges, watch this video
• Where do I get a replacement toner cartridge? Collect these from Reception
• What do I do with the empty cartridge? Place in the toner bins provide or return to Reception & we’ll make sure it’s disposed of accordingly
