Some years ago, one of my then team members was based in the tower block that stands next to Spearmint Rhino in Birmingham and overlooks it's roof terrace. Offices on that side of the building were rather prized amongst a certain set of the male workforce.

Protecting High Risk Information in E-mail:

If you must send National Insurance Number or Credit card information make sure data is masked and if required to be sent, only send the last 4 numbers in the clear.

• Credit card account number and National Insurance Number should never be sent, in the clear, in e-mail.

That reminds me of my pay slips - I went looking for my NI number as they are *always* on the pay slip but it had been blacked out - presumably to protect me from its evil influence.
