Try that again... So basically the same as most door/barrier/campsite access systems. Unless you have biometric data or someone checking photo ID, pretty much any such system will be open to abuse unless you make people renew frequently (and then the administrator will be open to a lot more abuse!) |

Dear Colleagues It's now time for all of us to complete a new round of our quarterly Even Better Place to Work (EBPTW) diagnostic survey We are keen to understand how staff are feeling at work in their teams and this tool gives us the knowledge to help support you You can complete the survey in under 5 minutes by logging in to the EBPTW website (link below) and selecting the ‘New S@W Indicator’ option Please remember that the survey is about how you work with your team and whether your own needs are being met - it is not an assessment of your line manager. There is a role for everyone to play in making a well-functioning and productive team. EBPTW offers a plethora of quick and free resources and exercises (more have recently been added) that can help reveal more about how members of our teams like to be treated and ways to improve in areas where we might be weaker. Line managers should think about ways they can bring these tools and exercises into their regular team meetings The survey opened on the 11th July, so please log-in and complete it within the next two weeks [absence of full stops author's own] |

The cigarette bin has been on fire 3 times recently and our cleaners have reported that it is not because the bin is full but that people are not extinguishing their cigarettes properly. Would you please make sure that all cigarettes are completely dead before leaving them in the bin Thank you |

The engineer is currently testing the generator. Please do not be alarmed if you see smoke coming from the small building in the back car park. |
