Wasn't sure where to post this, but this is probably best. I just had to review a 'release document' from our outsourced Indian development team.

The document states the release starts at 18:00 on 8th June (i.e. yesterday), takes one hour, finishes at 17:00 on the same day. But don't worry, they have a support team on call. On 3rd June.

I rejected it on the grounds that they are "ignoring the linear nature of time". That should shut em up for a bit.

I got an email from our tech support saying our survey website is changing and he was offering to send people who need it a 'quick start guide'. It's 120 pages long!

I told the project manager they were intending to finish releasing it an hour before they started and had a fall-back point midway in there and added 'Good luck with that'

I am gathering a Dossier of Shite by the way and will present my bosses with the evidence next week. This is just the latest entry. I should add that this doc had already been reviewed by two pairs of outsourced eyes and the PM. None of them spotted that the whole thing was going back in time.

You can't buy quality like that. Oh wait. We did.
