Dear Mr R,

I am writing to apologise for the poor service that you have experienced recently on the Piccadilly line. The line has been impacted by a number of equipment failures.

We have an accelerated programme of replacing outdated kit to give you the service you expect. I am working tirelessly with our engineers to prevent further disruption.

Yours sincerely,

Interesting. What service do you expect? Are they working hard to reduce service levels to achieve that goal?

INVITATION TO A LISTENING SESSION : YOU TALK, WE LISTEN

Dear colleagues,

By now you will have seen the results of our first regional Pulse Check survey (https://xxx.xxx.com/xxxx/DOC-7xxx).
We and the rest of the leadership team take these results seriously and want to understand in more detail the feelings that lie behind the responses. Consequently, we are kicking off a series of regular listening sessions around the country. The first wave will run in early December (dates and venues below).

They ran an anonymous survey and didn't like the results..........I think this is just to get some names

All,

As with any great Company, our colleagues are our most valuable asset. Therefore it is important to us, to me, to know what you are thinking and understand what things we get right and what things we could do better.

This survey is a great opportunity for you to feedback on topics ranging from the tools to do the job, through to career progression and of course communication. It is also an opportunity for you to express your thoughts and opinions on what we do well and also to recognise areas where we can improve. Only through this feedback can we all make XXXX an even more engaging and enjoyable place to work.

Please click here to complete the survey: [link]

Note the responses are anonymous and that the closing date is 31st December; the survey should not take more than 10 minutes.

Regards,
CFO

I've just been made redundant and am pondering an appropriate response...
