Some remarkable finishing (rather, non-finishing) in that game. Excitingly inept.

Yep, Silva (two), Aguero (at least two) and Lallana.

My favourite bit was right at the end. Man City, chasing a winner, free kick 25 yards out, Liverpool headed clear, 5 passes later it was back with Cabalerro, who in true Pep style, played it out from the back (85 yards into the channel)

Been away for a while, Ipswich vs Brum will be a big match on Saturday, the loser could be dragged into the relegation fight. But as we have only won two games this year and Brum are no better 0-0 and we both hover above the drop zone.

I can scarcely believe we won 4-2 at Oxford last night. Cheered me up no end especially as I watched on TV. Seems like the team are helping me. Last 3 away games -4-2, 4-0 and 4-2. Great stuff Bolton, at last.

Oxford's second goal was a bit special, if a well known Premiership player had scored that we wouldn't hear the last of it.

Yes you're right, Maguire's free kick was a beauty. Apparently we tried to sign him when he was at Rotherham but failed. Last night surprised me only because in the home fixture Oxford won 2-0 and simply outplayed us for 3/4 of the game. Anything below the Prem never gets a mention on the BBC. |

Birmingham haven't got a free kick taker (Gardner thinks he is one but isn't, while Cotterill who is one is scandalously loaned out to Bristol city),very jealous when I saw that.

Zach Clough was starting to become a free kick man before we sold him to Forest but looks like Morais will be just as good. Spearing thinks he is better than he actually is. I always reference a former Bolton right back John Ritson from the 70s who just used to drill the thing at a vicious pace often to great effect
