A gentle (no effort) Parkrun. Slowest 5k for nine months, but enjoyable in good conditions.

Ran to local parkrun and home. 9 miles in total. Longest run since i did 10k at the beginning of December. Wasn't fast and wasn't pretty but it was a very hilly course so i'm feeling quite pleased with myself.

6 slow miles mostly off road. Ran along some footpath / trails and mud, mud, mud with my shoes not gripping too well (they're harder trail / off road rather than trail - still waiting on my actual trail shoes). Ran into a darkened woods and far less mud than expected so easy to get around.
Nearly tripped over a couple of wooden posts sticking about 6" out of the ground and hard to see in the dark.
New shoes are now plastered in mud.

Slightly more testing 4.3 miles than yesterday's Parkrun, due to running with a friend whose nickname is "Onya" (his surname is Marks) and he's somewhat faster than me!
