Really pleased with today's parkrun. I'm rubbish at pacing myself, and having only just restarted running since straining my calf at the end of July, I was really pleased to achieve my best time since doing a PB in May :)

despite clutching a map, I still got lost in the foresty bit in Tromso. I spotted a jogger and took off after him to find the way. He was very kind and let me run with him to get back to the main road and into town.

It was very wet and slippy and we saw a walker slip. As I asked if she was ok, I lost my own footing and managed to both clatter my knee AND land on my arse. Not my finest hour.

Notwithstanding all that, it was quite lovely and refreshing as I hardly ran at all last week.
