Pretty darn good. I ran the entire route which I was very happy about.

I am doing the Midnight Marathon (Dartford) this evening with an 8.00 pm start. My runs are always morning ones - out around 6.00 am and back by 8.00 am. This evening's race might be a shock to the system but I could do with a welcome change to the norm.

2nd parkrun since resuming running. Slow time and the marshal's sympathetic "well done, big fella" didn't help, but soooo good to be back. Will be a small fella again by the end of the year!

Parkrun first was nice and easy. Half marathon after on muddy canal tow paths made for heavy legs.

How did it go, Phil?

I am struggling here in Genova because it is so hot. Yesterday, at 730am, it was already 27C with 70% humidity! I am off to Xiamen (South East China) for a week where it is even worse :/

I can manage about 10k but when I try anything further, I come back in a pretty awful shape. I do drink a lot of water and take gels, but I'm just not built to run in this. Now I know why the first ever marathoner dropped dead after delivering his message!
