Around 15 miles. Went a different way today and got lost a few times. Tried following the Silver Lincs Way route from Barnoldby-Le-Beck in N.E. Lincs. Naturally, the signs vanish when you need them and a map on the village green seemed to indicate a footpath to my left where I couldn't see one. Ran right down the road a bit and found one so followed that for a bit around some fields, tracks, along a lovely steam and out into the open fields with hills. Gorgeous scenery and a few rabbits out and about. No idea really where I was going. |

Just over 13 miles this morning at 8:35 pace. Reasonably happy although a bit tired as it was the longest run I've done for a while. Picked up yet another blister despite the new running shoes being more than a little worn in by now. Took a route that I might do once a month. Found that the path was overgrown with stinging nettles, brambles and long grass. Avoiding the worst of these threw me out of a natural running rhythm and I did get stung a couple of times! |

Not bad, considering. just a trot round the block. Getting back to running after the best part of 3 months off (kidney stones). Desperately slow and unfit now, of course, but great to be back out there.

A lovely, sunny 3 miles down the riverbank.. it was great just to switch off from the EU madness for half an hour before work.
