About 3k in sprints: teaching tri-baby to right his bike! Lots of stopping and starting and bombing it down the hills :)

30k. First 9k on road; then about 8k up the back of the forest on the mountains. There was still a lot of ice and a ridiculous amount of mud so it was pretty tough and I had to walk a lot. The ice is thick, old and soft; at one point I sank up to my knee and had to go back for my shoe! (It really was up to my knee: I got ice inside my knee-high sock!). Coming down was messy and icy too and I had to walk quite a lot. I then topped it off with the last 13k round roads and trails (flat!).

I'm ready to sign up to that marathon!

Best for a while. 10 miles of very varied offroad with over 1200' of climbing. Feeling positive about marathon #7 in a fortnight.

11.38 miles this morning. Was meant to be easy, comfortable run which it was - but then found it was my fastest time for this run (1hr, 33mins, 29 secs) so a nice surprise.
