A much livelier 7.1 miles on the 1st cold morning of this autumn. T with vest hidden underneath. Beautiful trail/beach combo. :)

Ran over the border into Suffolk. Garmin kept turning itself off and on. Passed a (modern) stone circle in someone's back garden. Then paused at the village church, where a vicar or perhaps the churchwarden invited a slightly damp, sweaty runner to admire the amazing medieval paintings (including a dragon) and the dozen or so winged stone skulls looking down on the worshippers. Decided it was all getting a little unnerving and ran home.

Please to recover so quickly from a head cold and make it out for 4 easy miles today. Only 3 days training missed. I can live with that.

4.2 miles round Central Park on our holiday, partly on the marathon route. Great atmosphere, will do it one day. :-)

Nice 5K run today around the park and along the river, although slippery underfoot. A couple of times I thought I was going in!

Milestoney 12 miles to take me over 1,000 miles for the year and above 100 miles for the fourth consecutive month.

Left foot is still a bit sore, and now I have a stiff ankle as well, probably from not striding properly while compensating for the sore foot.

10 days to Nice Mara, last one for the year.

Hmmm .... well it started well, with a decent pace, but the climbing was fairly relentless, by the time I got to the final climb I was a tad worn out, going slower and slower, even the final descent wasn't it's usual fun as I couldn't really go for it. Still, a cracking run.
