Been up since 6.30 Fri AM

Whilst running in moonlight no headtorch saw a brilliant 'shooting star' to the NW abiut 3am.

Canals are dull.

Slow progress, Stoke was my finish as to run on anywhere else would've left me stranded unable to get home easily later on.

10/10 for event, the dot watch timelapse would be amazing if it is possible to construct.

Canals may be dull but I can assure you the Gucr is anything but. In my opinion much tougher & more painful than the prettier, more scenic Lakeland 100. 145 miles using the same muscle group hurts I can tell you and when all you can see is canal disappearing into the distance its a mental challenge too. You will love it, I did, enjoy! ps I failed on my first attempt as many do but the dullness drew me back for more :-)

Different strokes for different folkes.

I hate London so find no appeal in running 145 miles towards it!!

Surely it's better to tell the truth than lie. Country boy me can't handle the big city. ;)
