Running round the block in NYC for 3000 miles? A 'race' without a defined finish line? Running up and down a rather nondescript hill?

The front page picture (which also follows you about in a sidebar :-o) depicts what I presume to be an ultra runner (ultra trail runner even); but who has a look which I would describe as "demented tramp". Is this an accurate representation of you all ?
