I thought of the great Glen Mike but again its not in the school holidays. I'm hoping to do it myself in the next couple years and going to ride it before the end of the year. this school holidays thing is severely limiting the options . btw folks, does north downs way race sell out quick? had my eye on it for a while. |

Some of the Scottish stuff looks great, but would cost an absolute fortune to get the camper van there. We are taking gallons to the mile If I get through my bike test and get off a 125… then long distances might be more feasible. Though it does reduce what I can take with me severely. Going to test out bike camping locally to see how well I can work it |

My school, now an academy, so not sure if it still applies, has a clause in the personal time off forms regarding representing your country. Now I am NEVER going to be good enough for that, UNLESS anyone knows of any bizarre and under-represented events that I can qualify by dint of being the only person interested. Ultra-distance running combined with tiddly-winks and cake making or some such |

I have been allowed time off to represent my country, not sure if it is in the contract, think these things are due to the discretion of the head.
