Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Haha, Pothunter... I once had to let Oscar carry a whole rabbit home before he (unwillingly) exchanged it for a while tin of dog food and a packet of sausages. I say unwillingly because no dog has ever eaten so fast, and Slowboy still nearly lost an arm grabbing the rabbit while he was inhaling our offering. :-)

Apparently, they can be trained to drop things! 🤣

Love that photo Dio!
Glad Wanda seems ok.

My sister's Lab Molly ate my entire stash of Christmas chocolates, found upstairs in a spare bedroom, when we were looking after her while my sister was in Australia one year. No ill effects whatsoever :-)

Glad Wanda is OK.

I had the usual 'game' with Drontal last week - Jet simply *will not* eat it. I've ground it into powder and hidden it in peanut butter, cream cheese etc over the years, but he's never fooled. This week I tried it wrapped in smelly cheddar. He managed to eat all the bits of food and spit out the tablet pieces. Eventually I got so fed up that I put it on the floor, turned away slightly to go and see what else was available, only to watch Jet hoover it up as if it was contraband!

It's a good job his anti-inflammatory medicine is in liquid form and can be soaked into his food.

Does anyone know of an anti-worming brand that isn't a massive tablet. We have the devil's own job getting one into Biscuit every 3 months and I'm pretty sure he's rumbled all of my cunning hiding plans now.

Try pretending to eat it yourself then "accidentally" drop it... that usually makes stuff disappear round here. But all mine will eat anything handed to them anyway.
