Because all the nice guys are married?
Because meeting new people is difficult as social circles are already established?
Because dating sites are generally rubbish?
Maybe we need to think up a collective response to make the question-asker feel stupid for asking.

People don't ask me ... maybe it's obvious. Wish I could see it. I'm missing skin on skin action at the moment, which is a good thing - I was really put off anything like that after troubled man and at one point, couldn't imagine even snogging someone. I think Tinder man made me thaw out; he was nicer-looking than his photos and really down to earth, a gent and did I say sexy? I think I did. All those things do it for me.
He's been back in touch to talk about trying to arrange another meet, so that's good. If I get to another meet, I'm gonna have to give him a nickname.
I've got no matches on Bumble - I presume I'd get a notification if I get a match.
Oh and I'm missing an intimate item of clothing. My best knickers, which match a bra. Before anyone gets excited, I left them at the massage therapists and have to go back and get them in a bit. (He's just texted me to say he's got them.) His partner's based at the same address, but hopefully she's used to finding lost bits of women's underwear around occasionally!

I think they're my best knickers because I managed to buy 2 pairs when I bought the bra. Usually when you buy a bra with matching knickers, there's only one pair available and they wear out more quickly than the bra.
