Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'd love to do the NDW 50, the start is more or less on my doorstep, but I promised myself the second after finishing the Lairig Ghru this year that I'd limit trail runs to 27 miles. Maybe once I've done a few more trail marathons it'll be time to reconsider.

The NDW50 is a fantastic race race, and the bacon boat is great reason to enter on it's own!

Mind you, I was VERY lucky last year and got the last one! It's not so good when it's just the jelly baby boat!

The NDW50 is the same weekend as the Windermere Marathon, and I plan to be there because it's a special celebration for the significant birthday of a lovely Fetchie ... actually, 50 miles at 50 would be EVEN BETTER than a marathon. Where's HellsBells? ;)

Being serious, though, we won't be straying far from home during school term time next spring because of the wee-raptors' exams, and the CDNW race calendar isn't out yet so I don't know when I'll be volunteering to support at bike races. But another year ... :)

Lili, are you still coming to Ennerdale next month?
