Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I watched the Napoli-Juve Coppa Italia final last night. I'd forgotten the depth of loathing I feel towards Juve, worsened by an English commentator who spoke as though it was Juve's birthright and that Napoli were lucky to be there, despite the fact that it was Napoli who had all the best shots (saved by the miraculous Buffon). It was a very uncomfortable experience all told that involved quite a bit of yelling at the telly.

Quite satisfying in fact. Especially when Napoli won on penalties. With a keeper who wasn't born when Buffon won his first Coppa Italia with Parma.

I was bitten by a police horse once. I don't blame the horse, I'm sure it was my own fault for being irresistibly delicious.

Shetlands are grumpy little bastards, and as such I feel great affinity for them.

My horse frequently bites me. In a casual ‘I’ll just have a little taste of this’ way. He also bites if anything makes him feel stressed, if he thinks there’s food around or if you touch him in the wrong place. Or if you look at him funny. Despite this, I spend most of my free time and about 120% of my disposable income on him. He doesn’t give a shit.

You can't even eat a horse without someone complaining.
