Nice that it's coming good Wardi.
Are you still thinking of going for the GFA TR?
Sounds sensible to take the pressure off riggys. Sometimes life gets in the way.

TR - Good, the Pumas are so light. Hope the IoW half goes well so I may meet you at Abingdon. Enjoy Pembrokeshire, its a beautiful county.
Sounds a wise call Riggsy, you've a lot on.
Wardi - Excellent PR time, thats some improvement over a few weeks. Good day overall.
LMH - Good call, just doing the 6 miles. Less is more now.
Following that principle, cut short my long run this morning. Wasn't really feeling it and called time when the heavens opened. 11m done, for a good 70m+ week. The fast LR and some other fast runs in the week have caught up with me. Time to freshen up and starting cutting back on the mileage. A much needed rest now until Tursday when a 10m mp run beckons.

Is that Tuesday or Thursday Ouchie?
Very sedentary day for me as it started raining just after 0600hrs so I didn't even get a walk in before work. Hope my legs appreciate it and play ball tomorrow. Mind you we've had so much rain today it might be more of a paddle/swim than a run!

Riggsy -good idea, you've lots on the go at the mo.
Ouchie - you are in a good place at the mo, 10m at mp is a tough test.
LMH - we've had rain 3 or 4 days in row, what a novelty...........not sure on the gfa race, it's 10 wks, so 8 20m opportunities, of which I can get 5 or 6 in due to Wales and a couple of races. We'll see, I'm trying to step it up a bit......need to see evidence of some decent long runs and a decent day at IoW in 4 weeks.
Didn't get out until just before 4pm today, must be a lateness record for a Sunday, but ended up getting 10m done, much cooler and breezier.

It's been torrential here at times today TR - big puddles on the roads driving home. 5 or 6 is more than I've managed and you've already run 18.

Yes, I've done two 70m + weeks, both with tough 18 milers due to the heat or humidity.
