Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Just done today's and thought I wasn't sore from yesterday until I started!!!

All done for requisite times, those side planks get pretty tough pretty quickly

I've just done it.

First round okay - I even managed to do the rolling thing! :)

Second round, cut short the sides by about 5 secs.
Third round, gave up on the sides.

Hey ho, let's see what tomorrow brings. :)

I seem to have done the same as you AR - two full sets plus one basic.

I've decided to keep a record of my Plankathon on my blog as another way of motivating myself. I'll just have to do all 14 days now.

Fragile Do Not Bend
If anything, I found that easier than yesterday's, it was the pressure on my my forearms on the floor that was more limiting than my core. I couldn't do the rolling over thing though.

One of my yoga teachers sometimes gets us to do rotating planks, i.e., front - side - front - other side - reverse (kills my shoulders!) - first side, then repeat. My Pilates teacher is a bit kinder to us :-), she gives us static side planks but with a raised upper arm and leg.
Done the 5 minutes today.

Done -Just about! transition to the second side was a bit messy each time and the 30 seconds rest feels a lot shorter than the other 30 seconds do :)

Little Nemo - this kitten can
That was tough! Just about managed the first set OK although I had to go into my knees to change position. Couldn't stay in position on the side plans for the whole 30 secs on the second set and only managed the front plank on the third set. Had a bit of a rest and then had another go at the last two side plans and did manage the whole 30 secs with a break in between.
