Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I would like to run on the 29th but will be in Inverness and really want to do Aviemore as not done it yet and the weather isn't looking too great up there by the weekend so there's a chance of cancellation whereas if I was still at home Aberdeen would probably still be on....Oh well will have to wait and see *fingers crossed*

Aviemore are fairly reliably on unless the snow gets compacted to ice. Fair amount of snow today, but not much forecast later in the week week. However it is going to be cold so snow might hang around. Don't hold your breath for Inverness but Alness will be OK if the rest of the week is dry as forecast.

Thanks, I have done Alness but nothing to stop me doing it again although of Avie was off and Inverness on I would probably just do it as we are staying less than 10 minutes from the park. :-)

Those participating because it is the 29th will be doing so anyway some may make more of an issue about it though. I would like to see more of our local community out irrespective of what the date might be. It would be nice to have some snow, expecting rain and a few more minibus trips this weekend.

Inverness will be a complete mudfest if it is on LG. But you probably know that already.

57.5DoP - the Whin Park course was changed slightly the last time apparently (I had other things on). Now 4 "almost big laps" turning left after the bridge so cutting out the muddy slope. Hopefully the river will drop and we won't get too much stuff from the sky this week, because I do want to run on the 29th. Bit of a rush to get back from Alness or Aviemore for the girls' shinty at 11:15........

That should make it a bit less slippy, Nessie. But still plenty of mud to enjoy!

I am occasionally tempted to edit the Inverness age grade record for the sake of keeping records straight. Clearly held by a young lad who did two laps out of three. The previous holder was very proud and would have complained vociferously, but had died some time before.

Chancing it a bit to ask OH to drive to Elgin OC - it took me long enough to persuade him to drive to Aviemore ;-)
