Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Fizz :-)
I had a look. The minimum donation is £3 per month, and you can choose your own value, although the screen initially seems to suggest you can only use one of their defaults.

I’ll stick with my current policy of intermittently giving my local parkrun £1 for each parkrun I’ve done. Which reminds me I’m a bit behind with that!

Could they not just charge £10 for the 50, 100 etc t-shirts?

I'd rather make a modest payment than be expected to volunteer <ducks and runs>

Didn't realise there was a mechanism for giving money to your local parkrun - how do you do this?

I am happy to volunteer as I think thats only right when others do so for me. I also wouldnt be averse to a small running fee if thete was a way to achieve that. Not sure I would sign up to a regular monthly payment as my parkruns are sporadic, with spells of running them and spells of not running them. I would also prefer the majority to go to my local run(s)

On subject of donations - quite a few events receive annual donations from the London Marathon organisation if the event provides teams of volunteers - Prudential Ride = £875 and VLM = £100
