Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I hope it's a bit closer to me ;-)

Today, I dodged parkrun. Race tomorrow. I've not even ordered my 500 shirt yet.

We went to Y Promenad in Brecon, part of our Welsh camping trip. Motorhomes and campervans allowed to overnight free 6pm to 8am. We paid for 4 hours in the morning and had a lovely part parkrun swim in the river

Should read "post parkrun swim", although it was so warm, that a swim part way round would have been welcome 😁

Did Parc Coed Gwilym near Swansea as it was the closest to my hotel. Nice out and back along the canal but 4 additional small loops were instantly forgettable.. didn't realise it was so new but well managed and not stupid numbers
