Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I agree UP, I love the race, I just dont like talking to people very much when I am running. I run for me, no work, no wife, no dog, no kids, just me, so I really relish the time in my own head. And as SB points out I am pretty miserable bastard most of the time.

And yes RWR that was me, I am quite good at steaming up hills, just not very good at steaming back down them. If you were into Rowardennan after me you had had a superb second half to hit that time.

Blogged. mindthoseknees.blogspot.co.uk

Reading all the race blogs is turning into quite an endurance event. It's lucky that we've trained for these things.

Matt Laye was staying with us last night on his wee highland tour HappyG. My wife is American and invited him if he came north. Great guy, and also works in aging research which is of interest to this aging runner!

Funnily enough he also stayed with another American Fling runner Jamie Aarons, who I went back and forth with for almost all the race.

Good blog _andy. Didn't realise you were suffering with the dizzies. Was it heat? If so, like Helen said, how about wetted buff to cool you down?

She is one perfectly formed and perfectly timed princess.

Doing well, still being looked after in hospital as she was only 4 pounds but off all fluid drips and feeding on milk only. Love her so much.
