Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Using Firefox to upload from my 310XT - worked fine last night, but is saying "device not found" today

Did you manage to sort this out Foz? I have been having the same problem since installing the latest Garmin connect update - it just can't "find" the watch until I manually enable pairing and go through the pairing procedure again.

I went through the rigmarole of deleting the .xml file process detailed on the thread earlier on, did a master reset on the watch and re-paired the watch with PC. Seems to be working now....

I'll try all that. something to look forward to!

Also, I have finally caught up with Argie's prompt from Dec 2nd to put some links in the header. If anyone thinks there are other posts I should be flagging, let me know.

I can find the watch - but suddenly can't upload from it. strava and TrainingPeaks are both fine - and Fetch is okay with my other Garmins (two Edges and a Swim Watch).

Pulled the trigger and ordered a 620.
Three instances of the 310xt glitching in the last week or so made my mind up...

Right. Deleting everything in my activities directory didn't work, so I deleted everything in the history directory too - now all is well. Hurray (Thanks Gav).

Thanks Fetch really Grep. It was on his tips list already. I had probs with pairing when I first started, but seems to be working pretty consistently now. :-)G

Really fed up with my 310
1. Not been able to upload to Garmin connect for ages and even when I have managed have had to try several times for it to work
2. In my history it has saved everything as 29dec but not my most recent runs
3. Every so often it freezes on the 'Garmin' screen and after about 30 min might try to find a signal

This is a refurbished one about a year or so old

Suppose wil get another refurb one from Garmin what are they charging now? Was wondering if I should ask if I can pay a bit more to get a 910 anyone know if they do that?
