Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Perfect Organism
My garden is similar Phal. Occasionally we get chaffinches, blackcaps, and goldfinches too, but usually just the same list as you.

Saw some cormorants on the harbour today.

Mine is much the same, although I get wood pigeon and herds of collared doves, regular breakfast club of them this morning.

We have small enclosed gardens up my road, so the robins usually sort themselves out ok. I did have two male blackbirds feeding close together yesterday, which was a surprise.

I saw three buzzards circling above the roundabout at the turn off for the A14 at Stow-cum-Quay on Thursday.

Skylark singing & I didn't notice the usual fieldfares now I'm thinking like about it! There are plenty of kites & buzzards here, the buzzards are very shy & wary, the kites not, they fly very close & I have perfect views. Unnerving.

I'm very pleased with the variety of bird life in our new garden in the countryside. Only been here a few weeks and seventeen species spotted so far (nothing unusual though)

Seventeen species for winter is good. Spring migrants will be arriving soon. Even if they don't visit your feeders they'll be around ;-)
