Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I’ve got Astonish vegan soap in the kitchen at the moment (because it was on offer - gotta save for that oven cleaning). I suppose there is a real chance that one might ingest a tiny bit of that.

(Sorry, I’ll stop turning this thread into an annexe of the Mundane thread soon.)

I emptied out the bag I use for work and got rid of all the rubbish! It is so much lighter now. Not an exciting newt but one I've been meaning to do for weeks!

I have a self cleaning oven. Pyro something or other. You just take out all the shelves, set it off, let it cool down afterwards and brush out the ashes. Job's a goodun.

LOL at Jelly. I don't want to rub dead animal all over my oven any more than I want to eat it. Astonish is a great brand. Their stain remover is better than anything I tried in my pre-vegan days.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
