Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Big thanks to HowFar? - my son tried that touch typing from bbc bitesize and enjoyed it - thank you.

Have people seen the "live history lesson from secret WW2 bunker in liverpool" on facebook tomorrow 1-2? Sounds good - aimed at primary school age.

Good news, Elsie Too.

That's a great tip, EP. I hadn't heard that. I'll definitely pass that news on to my class. We were half way through a book (Krazy Kow Saves The World) so I am trying to record the rest of it, in chapters, to put online for the ones that want to hear how it ends.

There is an app we use here called Libby. It allows you to borrow ebooks and audible books from the library (up to 9 of each). I don't know if libraries over there have a similar scheme.

That history lesson was good. I watched it with hubby and son during my lunch break.
Hubby and son also started a paper mache planet today (son wants to create the solar system). Unfortunately they left the balloon, part covered in paper mache out to dry in the sun - it got a bit warm and popped! They will start again later today or tomorrow!

Cool thanks. Audible free too and Ben Fogle has a 4pm Instagram live adventure video I think.
