Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

C Block - there's no place like it.

SSE are doing some overhead work on the HT electrical cables on the 23rd July between the hours of 09:00 and 13:00 and they have promised a generator. They say that they don’t feel it will take the 4hrs and that the power outage should last up to 2 hrs. We do have our UPS power systems but they do not power screens. SSE will install the generator hopefully before 09:00 but there will be a 15 minute window for connecting and disconnecting their generator so in this time our servers will still be active.

I will remind you the day before.

[No criticism whatsoever of the person who sent this. She is doing her job diligently and efficiently as always. However...]

Dear all,

Please find attached the minutes of the Space Management & Minor Works sub-committee meeting on 24 June. I also attach the market report as requested in that meeting (minute 20.33). The report highlights that although there is a risk of increased tender returns due to Covid-19, these will be reflected in Project Risk Registers on a case by case basis. As per the normal process SMMWSC process the four highlighted projects for progression will return to the sub-committee for a decision post-tender.

Kind regards,

that's actually a model of good writing.

Unlike the previous one where I have no idea whether anyone needs to do or know anything, and if so, what.

So we are looking at buying 1 PC over here and rather than put a new machine over here, I have spoken to XXXX and he has approved 1 PC over there instead and we will use the old PC from over there for over here, so who do you want to have this new PC?
