Dan Duxbury did 11:52 earlier in the year. He's calling me sometime this morning, so am looking forward to getting details. Am pretty sure it will fall in the context of "supported", but that's OK.

He brought it forward by 24hours to benefit from more benign conditions yesterday, but "Proper Hard" about sums it up. I think my NAILS award of the year goes to the two Dark Peak lads who did it completely unsupported last Sunday, I've got their written account and it's sobering reading - particularly when you consider that they're both very experienced cold-water swimmers. I'll arrange for it to be published sometime over the next few days.
