Easy run later today. Yesterday was fartleks where I proved to myself that my legs could still move relatively quickly. Couldn't keep that up for long though! It's something to build on though.

It seems that I'm not alone in having a low mileage month of May.
11 miles cycling this morning took me to a low by my standard 347 miles for the month.
Even worse, a difficult and extremely weary slow jog for 3 miles saw my running end on 56 miles.
I'll be ecstatic when the stent gets removed and I can get back to normal, but that's another 10 days to wait. (Drums fingers, and gets impatient at how the countdown to its removal is going sooooooo slooooowly).

Looking good, DocM, looking forward to getting my cap too, though it will probably mainly be worn by OH as I'm not a great hat wearer, and he has no head hair and often needs a hat.
May has been a very low mileage month for me too, what with the sprained ankle and the face plant. Be glad to get started on my June running! We went out for a lovely canal towpath and country walk this morning, very pleasant.
Sea bream baked with lemon and dill and some salad for Posh Fish Wednesday tea.
